The co-founders Meg and Caleb have collectively turned living experience into gaining expertise, into entrepreneurship.

Megan Lam
CEO, Co-Founder
Meg built a multidisciplinary team during her fellowship at Yale School of Medicine investigating digital data from connected devices to find patterns on depressive symptoms. There, co-founded emeritus Psychiatry Technology Group. She serves on the board of GIANT Health events, and advised corporate-founded network, Shared Value Project HK’s mental health initiative. She has consulted on health technology projects for development aid organisations globally, and is a regular speaker on the intersection of mental health, technology, and service design.
Caleb Chiu
CTO, Co-Founder
Caleb is an expert in consumer applications, spending 8 years building top-charting products as a full-stack software engineer. He has leveraged his skills from Bloomberg, to developing AI-enabled digital therapeutics that provide appropriate care at the right time. This was conducted with Imperial College's Department of Psychology. Testament to this, Caleb moved back to Hong Kong and founded a government-backed mental health technology company, focusing on students and systemic social support systems. He holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Imperial College London.

Himani Kulkarni
Psychology Programme Lead
Himani Kulkarni is a Mental Health Professional with over 5 years of experience in the field. She has a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. She conducts counselling sessions, delivers talks, and creates content in the areas of professional and personal concerns like stress management, relationships, gender and sexuality, and professional growth. Her research and practice experience allows her to work with people from different communities, age groups, and identities. She is a strong believer in a holistic psychosocial approach to emotional and mental health concerns. She likes nature walks, and comfortable meals, and consumes a variety of content to not feel too old.
Dr. Meanne Chan
Research Partner
Makes sure Neurum's platform is approved by scientific journals. Health Psychologist by training, she has developed an inter-disciplinary three-prong research program rooted in social health disparities and stress biology.
Dr. Bonnie Cheng
Research Partner
Helps maintain well-being in the workplace. She has published in high-impact venues such as Academy of Management Journal, Harvard Business Review, and The Wall Street Journal.
Catherine Tong
Data Science Advisor
Catherine specializes in the cross-section between the field of data science and mental health. She has worked with Microsoft on projects improving the health outcomes of patients by leveraging behavioural and healthcare data and her most recent research and series of published papers are on health and human activity recognition using data from wearables and IoT. During her PhD at the University of Oxford, she was elected President of Oxford Women in Computer Science Society. She also founded GirlsWhoML and has a passion to promote stronger support systems for women in technology.
Christine Chiu
Clinical Psychology Advisor
Christine has been involved in the field of mental health for the past ten years. She received training as a marriage and family therapist in the United States before returning to Hong Kong to obtain a PhD in Clinical Psychology from The University of Hong Kong. Christine's more recent research explores the relationship between social processes and mental health. As a research-practitioner, Christine promotes the well-being of individuals and communities through evidence-based and culturally specific approaches. She is a member of the Hong Kong Psychological Society and Association for Psychological Science.
